How to Play

Play Mr. Bean's Bean in Panic online for free. Bean in Panic has you play as Mr. Bean running through the aisles of the grocery store. Fill his cart with items on his shopping list, but be careful not to put anything not on the list in his cart. Grab with precisions as you lose a life each time you grab the wrong item. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
Select How to Play to learn the rules of the game.
Your web browser automatically saves your high scores.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - With your mouse, left click on the items to place them in the cart.
  - Touchscreen devices
    - Tap on the items with your fingers to place them in the cart.

      - Basic rules
        Complete each set of items on your shopping list to earn points.
        Select an item from the shelves to place it in the shopping cart (“trolley”).
        You can grab the items in any order so long as they are on your list.
        Avoid placing anything that’s not on the list on the cart.
        Get extra points by placing in bonus items into your cart when the bonus is activated.
        Keep placing items on your cart for as long as you can.
        You are given lists of 3 items at a time to collect.
        You score points each time you complete a set of 3 items.
        Scores range from 100 to around 400, with scores going higher on sets as you work your way through the game.
        Avoid getting 3 x marks.
        You get an x mark for each wrong item you place on the cart.
        If you make 3 x marks, it’s game over.
        You do not get an x mark for clicks that miss and grab nothing, so you have more incentive to be aggressive grabbing items when they do not have other items next to them.
        Tips
        Mr. Bean walks faster as the game progresses, which makes collecting items harder.
        Be sure to click or tap on the items when you can spot them.
        Try to lead your click or tap slightly left of the item so you are hitting it as it passes through.
        Focus on getting as many of the items in as you can. If it is hard to focus then pick one item at a time and work on it until you find it.
        Game time
        While Mr. Bean may walk faster as you progress, the game is not timed.
        You can take your time to grab goods when a row is fairly clear of other nearby items.
        Rows
        As you move faster it gets harder to grab items – especially narrow items.
        The bottom row has your cart in it & the middle row has your body in it.
        Both of these obfuscate your view, making the top row the best row to pick from when the game is moving fast – especially if you only have 1 life remaining.
        Your shopping cart fills as your score increases, which also further obfuscates the middle row like the bottom row.
        Watch out for the bonus items.
        They can help boost your score, though you have to pick them quickly.
        Be careful not to pick bonus items after the shopping list has changed or you will lose points.
        Thinner items have a smaller cross section to grab, so pay extra attention when grabbing something small, as it requires far more precise timing.
        An item of the shelves may not appear the same way it appears on your list.
        Your list may contain a singular canned good on it but those goods may be stacked in a column on the shelf.
        Some items on your list may appear angled while they are flat on the shelves.
